Job description:
Build infrastructure teams trust and customers never notice.
You’ll be closest to production, sharpest on what scales and fastest to turn incidents into automation.

AWS cloud infrastructure · Kubernetes & containers · Terraform IaC · CI/CD & observability
What you'll do
Design and run scalable, secure, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. Administer Kubernetes and Docker container platforms.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines. Write Infrastructure as Code in Terraform — reusable modules, clean state management.
Stand up monitoring, logging, and observability so problems surface before customers do. Bake security in with DevSecOps: secrets management, vulnerability scanning, security automation.
Design for high availability, disaster recovery, and performance. Troubleshoot complex production issues, lead infrastructure modernization, and mentor junior engineers into DevOps best practices.
Must haves
5 to 6 years in DevOps. Strong expertise designing and managing scalable, secure, highly available AWS infrastructure. Advanced hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, and container platform administration.
Extensive CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar. Deep Terraform expertise including reusable modules and state management.
Strong experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, and CloudWatch. DevSecOps practices — secrets management, vulnerability scanning, security automation.
Strong scripting in Bash, Python, or Go. High availability, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and performance optimization.
Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and lead modernization initiatives. Experience mentoring engineers and driving DevOps practices across teams.
Good to haves
A platform-thinking instinct — building golden paths other engineers self-serve on, not one-off fixes. Cost-aware architecture: knowing what every design decision does to the bill.
Up for occasional in-person vision and strategy sessions.
