We asked our creative team, on a few design philosophies they appreciate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"d89d\">Here\u2019re 7 of them, that shapes our approach to design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"c330\"><span id=\"1-keep-it-simple\"><strong>1. Keep it Simple<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"51db\"><span id=\"make-it-feel-obvious-says-shilpa-kowshik\"><strong><em>\u201cMake it feel obvious\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, says Shilpa Kowshik<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"2822\">Simplicity in design is the hardest to achieve. Often simple is confused with boring, dull or unattractive. Simplicity lies in making sophistication seem obvious to engage with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"c3bc\">Keep it&nbsp;<strong>real<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"b0fa\"><span id=\"2-keep-it-clear\"><strong>2. Keep it Clear<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ca41\"><span id=\"signal-action-dont-leave-it-for-interpretation-says-raghunandan\">\u201cSignal action, don\u2019t leave it for interpretation\u201d, says Raghunandan<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"e05c\">A designer doesn\u2019t necessarily have to be an artist. Art is about interpretation, what one person perceives about a piece of art may differ from another. Design is about clearly communicating one particular usage of an element and not leaving it open for interpretation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"2c32\">Keep it&nbsp;<strong>focused<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"abd0\"><span id=\"3-keep-it-conversational\">3. Keep it Conversational<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"6469\"><span id=\"avoid-good-bad-polarization-keep-it-open-engaging-says-mayank\">\u201cAvoid good bad polarization, keep it open &amp; engaging\u201d, says Mayank<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"32d9\">There is no such thing as good or bad design. Anyone can design an interaction, keeping it open, interactive and engaging for people using it &amp; convincing for people making it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"369d\">Keep it&nbsp;<strong>dynamic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"8746\"><span id=\"4-keep-it-reflective\"><strong>4. Keep it Reflective<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"0707\"><span id=\"design-reflects-the-users-current-desired-state-of-mind-says-nikhil\">\u201cDesign reflects the user\u2019s current &amp; desired state of mind\u201d, says Nikhil<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"2ae3\">Design is not the designer, designers are not users and need not rely on the assumptions of what the user actually needs. If the user\u2019s agenda isn\u2019t fulfilled, no matter how neat &amp; pixel-perfect the interface is \u2014 it wouldn\u2019t work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"b099\">Keep it&nbsp;<strong>empathetic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"b157\"><span id=\"5-keep-it-human\"><strong>5. Keep it Human<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"f6cd\"><span id=\"reflect-common-sense-wit-emotional-honesty-says-vidhya\">\u201cReflect common-sense, wit &amp; emotional honesty\u201d, says Vidhya<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"1e96\">In all the information hyperness around, common-sense is a breath of fresh air, shows openness for connection, evokes an interaction &amp; eliminates needless drama\/frills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"e2bb\">Keep it&nbsp;<strong>raw<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"e19f\"><span id=\"6-keep-it-subliminal\"><strong>6. Keep it Subliminal<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"95e6\"><span id=\"drive-subconscious-action-lower-cognitive-load-says-vignesh\">\u201cDrive subconscious action, lower cognitive load\u201d, says Vignesh<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"90cd\">Can we design in a way user stops using their brain\u2019s processing power in realtime? Usage can be at ease which takes less cognitive load or can be done sub-consciously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ba2f\">Keep it&nbsp;<strong>easy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"398d\"><span id=\"7-keep-it-timeless\"><strong>7.
