“There is a sense of melting into the vibration of your own sound and your own voice. To us, this is what the mantra really was.” says Dr Jeffrey Thompson, from the Center for Neuroacoustic Research.

The Codewave team, created an android app (literally in an hour) that helps you record your own voice and play it any number of times you want. Be it a musical chant or a frequency, the app takes you on a journey deep within you.

Dr Jeffrey has been working on the science of “bio-tuning”, that relaxes people with the vibrations of their own voice. His experiments with sound have led to some amazing discoveries.

“An interesting thing happens when recordings of people speaking are speeded up and slowed down. If these recordings are doubled in speed three times (raising the pitch octaves), human speech patterns sound remarkably like birds chirping, When raised in speed by eight octaves, these recordings sound just like crickets chirping. Slowed down from normal speed by three octaves they sound like dolphins and at eight octaves slowed down, sound like the ebb and flow of the ocean. It’s interesting that recordings from the human voice should sound like nature sounds.”

“It feels great to see what we finally ended up doing and that too within no time. Thanks to everyone involved in the process. The urge to learn something new and building something that people would love pushes you to different levels. This is a great beginning and I hope there will be many more chances to explore.” – Adarsh Yadav, Lead – Android Mobile Development
“We have built amazing apps till now. This is the first product of Codewave which can be used by everyone across the world. Everything was all of a sudden in this app. All fell into place in just an hour including the logo and the name. This is just a sneak peak of what lies ahead in the coming future from us.” – Anoop Jain, Senior Visual Designer
